BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) _ Tony Reid came off the bench to score 11 points to help Bowling Green beat Ohio 72-59 Wednesday night.
The Bobcats (9-7, 4-4 Mid-American Conference) led for most of the first half. Then Anthony Stacey made a layup for Bowling Green (15-5, 7-2) to tie the game at 23 with 2:51 left in the half.
The layup triggered a 9-0 run that gave the Falcons a 30-23 advantage at halftime. Jay Larranaga scored five points during the spurt.
Bowling Green built up its lead in the second half to 17 points, on a Reid trey with 13:07 remaining. The Bobcats rallied to within 10, 54-44, on an Ed Sears free throw at the 7:19 mark, but got no closer.
Antonio Daniels led Bowling Green with 15 points and six assists, and Stacey had 14 points. DeMar Moore had 11 points and Jay Larranaga added 10.
For Ohio, Geno Ford had 18 points and five steals, and Sears scored 17. No other Bobcat scored in double figures.
