Lewis-Clark St. 90, Concordia, Calif. 68

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) _ Rosie Albert scored 23 points to lead No. 8 Lewis-Clark St. to a 90-68 victory over Concordia, Calif. Wednesday in the opening round of the NAIA Division I tournament.

Concordia (28-6) had won 16 in a row going into its first appearance in the tournament but fell behind quickly as Lewis-Clark St. (25-6) shot 63.2 percent from the field in the first half.

Jodi Benson’s free throw with 10:44 left gave Lewis-Clark St. a 32-8 lead. The Warriors stretched their advantage to 50-15 on a Laura Goulding steal and layup with 3:56 remaining.

Lewis-Clark St. led 58-28 at intermission.

Goulding had 18, while Amanda Campbell added 13 and Robin Berg scored 11 for Lewis-Clark St.

Angela Sather and Heather Carll scored 20 points apiece for Concordia. Audre Moss had 10.
