BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) — Police in Vermont have accused a man of shooting fireworks at vehicles and pedestrians, one of which hit a man in the head.
Police said one caller said fireworks were being shot out of a vehicle at other drivers on May 14 on Brattleboro’s Main Street. Police also made contact with a man walking who said he was struck by fireworks from a vehicle. He didn’t seek medical attention.
Twenty-one-year-old Ayble Ford, of Brattleboro, was later cited on fireworks possession and simple assault charges. He’s scheduled to appear in court July 2. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer and a phone number couldn’t be found for him.
