England goalie Foster has 4yr deal with West Brom
WEST BROMWICH, England (AP) — England goalkeeper Ben Foster has agreed to a four-year deal with West Bromwich Albion that includes a club option for the 2018-19 season.
The 31-year-old Foster was the first West Brom player in 44 years to play for England in the World Cup, where he held Costa Rica scoreless in England’s last group game in Brazil.
Foster, contracted to West Brom since 2012, says, “When I signed here permanently, I said this is the sort of club I could see myself finishing my career at.”
Foster has made 95 appearances for the Baggies, and has earned eight caps for England.
