Navy Plane Crashes in Texas
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) _ A Navy plane crashed and burned Friday in Corpus Christi, a military spokeswoman said. It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was injured on the ground or if the people aboard the plane survived.
Navy investigators were headed to the scene, Navy spokeswoman Fifi Kieshnik said. She didn’t know how many people were aboard the plane or what type of plane it was.
Earlier this month, a two-seat Navy T34 training plane was forced to make an emergency belly landing in the same area. Neither of that plane’s two-member crew was injured.
