ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Technical problems caused television viewers to miss the New York Yankees' four-run first inning against Anaheim on Saturday.

The Fox Sports crew working the game temporarily lost electrical power, which it was receiving from the stadium, and it was not restored until 21 minutes after the game started. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.

The first five New York batters reached base, and Darryl Strawberry, batting fifth, got his first hit since returning from colon cancer and a 113-day suspension imposed for drug possession,

Strawberry, making his third appearance and second start of the year, was credited with an RBI single on what appeared to be a routine popup to shallow left field.

Anaheim outfielder Darin Erstad lost the ball in the glare and it dropped for a single.
