Bradley police arrested Eric L. Mays, 34, of Kankakee, for driving under the influence of drugs on Jan. 10. According to a report, an officer on patrol in the 300 block of South Kennedy Drive saw a car crashed into the sign pole of Family House Restaurant. The driver, Mays, was standing outside the vehicle when the officer arrived. The officer smelled the odor of cannabis coming from Mays and inside the vehicle. Mays was taken to Riverside Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Mays was placed into custody after he was released from the hospital.
Bradley police arrested Charles R. Jensen, 40, of Kankakee, for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC greater than .08 on Jan. 8. According to a report, an officer stopped a vehicle driven by Jensen after he failed to stop at a stop sign. The officer smelled the odor of alcohol on Jensen’s breath. After field sobriety tests, Jensen was taken into custody. At the station, he gave a breath sample with a result of .136. A judge set Jensen’s bond at $3,000.
