ZURICH, Switzerland (AP) _ FIFA’s appeal committee reduced the suspension of Mexico’s Rafael Marquez from four games to three but upheld the six-month ban against Tunisia’s Skander Souayah.

Marquez, suspended after he was ejected during Mexico’s second-round loss to the United States at the World Cup, must sit out his team’s next three official games, FIFA said Wednesday.

Souayah started serving his penalty April 22.
