LEOH fall session under way in new Bellaire Blvd. location
Are you ready for aging? Or need help downsizing? Or need tips on sleeping better?
Those are just some of the topics Life Enrichment of Houston will be covering in its fall session, now under way and in a new home.
LEOH, the learning experience for senior adults, has moved to Bellaire United Methodist Church, 4417 Bellaire Blvd. at Newcastle.
Cost is $20 for the program of classes and Town Hall lectures each Thursday through Nov. 8. A light lunch for $3 is served.
You can register at one of the meetings or online at leohtexas.org or by mail. For information or a brochure, call Ken Euler at 713-664-5740.
Sleep and aging tips will be among Town Hall topics at 11 a.m. each week. Downsizing hints will be featured in the What’s Up Houston? programs, which are held at 10 a.m. each week.
The 10 a.m. program Sept. 27 will feature Melody Condron, of the University of Houston Libraries, discussing personal data processing. Sleep will be covered Oct. 11 and aging Oct. 18 at the 11 a.m. programs. Downsizing will be discussed Oct. 18 at the 10 a.m. session.
Classes are offered in beginning Spanish, beginning bridge and watercolor painting. Painting classes cost $40. Members also play bridge and other games every week. In addition, there are three trips to area attractions.
Life enrichment of Houston, now in its 38th year, is a nondenominational, non-profit, all-volunteer organization.
