Devin and Jason McCourty, the first twins to play on the same team in a Super Bowl, will give the commencement speech to Rutgers University graduates next month. The pair will receive honorary degrees and speak at their alma mater’s commencement ceremony on May 19. Both McCourtys have been active in efforts to raise awareness about sickle-cell anemia and other philanthropic activities. They played key roles in the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl win over the Los Angeles Rams in February.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Devin and Jason McCourty, the first twins to play on the same team in a Super Bowl, will give the commencement speech to Rutgers University graduates next month.

The pair will receive honorary degrees and speak at their alma mater’s commencement ceremony on May 19.

Devin, a safety, and Jason, a cornerback, played key roles in the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl win over the Los Angeles Rams in February.

Both McCourtys have been active in efforts to raise awareness about sickle-cell anemia and have participated in numerous other philanthropic activities.

Jason McCourty graduated from Rutgers in 2009 and spent his first nine seasons with Tennessee and Cleveland. Devin McCourty graduated in 2010 and has played for the Patriots since being drafted by Bill Belichick.
