Bigfork Athletic Club’s alcohol license suspended over violations

April 5, 2019

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office dispatched officers to the Bigfork Athletic Club on Thursday to ensure the business’ compliance with a 30-day suspension of its alcohol license.

A Helena judge has prohibited the sale of all alcoholic beverages on the club’s premises for 30 days and imposed a 1,000 fine.

“We want to support businesses as much as possible and provide information,” Bruyer said. “Our checks are done countywide, and it’s just one of the strategies we use in law enforcement to try and reduce that access.”

Bruyer said the rules and regulations pertaining to alcohol licenses can be viewed on the state Department of Revenue’s website as an investigative guide.
