BRIDGEPORT — Kevin Crawford scored a game-high 27 points as Bassick edged Ludlowe for a 63-61 victory in a non-league boys basketball game Thursday night.

Jason Marrero added 10 points for the Lions (1-0), while Ian Bentley scored 16 points and Christian Peterson and Jadyn Tabois chipped in 10 points apiece to lead the Falcons (0-1).
