Marshall Township hires new manager to replace long-time top administrator
Marshall Township has appointed a new top administrator to replace long-time manager Neal McFadden, who retired after 33 years of service.
Julie Bastianini is a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Pine-Richland High School. She has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from John Carroll University in Ohio and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
“I am excited to work with the board of supervisors and township staff to continue to provide high quality services to our residents and business community,” Bastianini said.
“Mr. McFadden established a tradition of professional management and I feel honored to continue that tradition as township manager in this well-respected community.”
For the past seven years Bastianini has worked for the borough of Edgewood, where she served as manager for four years and assistant manager for three years.
