Authorities are investigating the vandalism of dozens of headstones in a western North Carolina cemetery, WITN reported.

The Graham County Sheriff’s Office first reported Saturday that it was seeking to identify a woman caught on surveillance video near the Lone Oak cemetery in Robbinsville.

On Sunday, the post was updated to reflect that the suspect was identified with help from a tipster who spotted the woman and her car at a rest area in Andrews. The woman is from out of state, officials said.

“Arrest warrants are being issued at this time and she will be in our custody shortly,” the sheriff’s department posted.

According to the sheriff’s office, about 60 headstones were overturned. Surveillance video appears to show the woman overturning headstones as she walks the cemetery and an adjacent church with her two dogs.
