5 West Virginia police officers exposed to narcotics agent
BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (AP) — Police in southern West Virginia say five officers have been exposed to a narcotics agent.
Bluefield police Chief Dennis Dillow tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph the officers were taken to a hospital after the exposure Tuesday during a traffic stop.
Dillow says one officer was administered an overdose-fighting drug at the scene. All five officers were taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Their names weren’t released and an investigation into the exposure is continuing.
