NEW YORK (AP) _ New York Mets outfielder Butch Huskey underwent a 40-minute procedure Monday to clean up material in his right knee.

Last Tuesday, Mets reliever Greg McMichael had the same procedure, a debridement, done on both knees.

Recovery time for both players is 4-6 weeks, and they are expected to be ready for spring training in February.

Huskey hit .252 with 13 home runs and 59 RBIs in 113 games last season. McMichael was 5-4 with two saves and a 4.10 ERA in 64 games with the Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers.
