Monument Marathon full-marathon winner crosses the finish line, sets record in first marathon

A Crawford man is the winner of the Monument Marathon.

Dylan Stansbury, 26, crossed the finish line with a time of 2:49:21. Stansbury says it is his first marathon as he is training to run another marathon in Sacremento, California. Stansbury recently won the half-marathon at Omaha. Stansbury set a record time.

In second place is Joe Wilson, of Lingle, Wyoming. Wilson finished with a time of 2:51:17. Nicholas Kizzire of Alliance took the third place spot with a time of 3:06:25.

The top placer among the women was Nicole Berosek, of Bridgeport, with a time of 3:26:08.

Also setting a record time was the winner of the half-marathon.

The winner of the half-marathon is Alejandro Garcia with a time of 1:13:58. Garcia is from Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. Taking the next two positions were Taylor Monson, of Ogden Utah, and Duane Rorie, of Loveland, Colorado.

The first female winner to cross the finish line in the half-marathon was Annmarie Wilson, of Lingle, Wyoming. Wilson had a time of 01:40:10.

The winner of the 5K, which is in its second year, was 10-year-old Adrian Agne, of Lakewood, Colorado. Agne had a time of 23:24. The female winner, and also the second place winner, was Bianca Lopez, of Gering. She finished just 30 seconds after Agne.

Rounding out the third place was Malcom Fox, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
