IN BRIEF:

_ XGR--MEDICAID-WORK _ A proposal that would put work requirements on certain Medicaid and food assistance recipients in Wyoming has passed the state Senate. Senate File 144 was approved Monday on a 23-5 vote. It now goes to the House for further debate.

_ XGR--ENERGY _ Several proposals that would raise taxes on wind energy in Wyoming have died in the state Legislature. The bills included one to raise the $1 per megawatt hour tax to $4 per megawatt hour and another to add $4 to the existing tax for a total of $5 per megawatt hour.

_ BANK ROBBERY _ Police are looking for a man who held up a Wyoming bank on Monday. The suspect walked into the Bank of Jackson Hole in Jackson, handed over a note demanding money and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.

_ PRISON WORKER SENTENCED _ A 31-year-old former Wyoming State Penitentiary worker has received probation for having a sexual relationship with an inmate in 2015. Shantell Ann Wyant was given a three-year suspended sentence by District Judge Dawnessa Snyder last week in Rawlins after being found guilty of three felony counts of sexual assault last September.
