Fairland boys down Jeeps, 51-38

SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio — Clayton Thomas scored 15 points and Aiden Porter added 12 to lead Fairland to a 51-38 victory over South Webster Monday night in boys high school basketball.

Austin Gartin and Ian Chinn scored nine points apiece for the Dragons (1-0), who played their first game since graduating all five starters from last season.

Shiloah Blevins led the Jeeps (0-1) with 18 points.

Levi Blankenship scored 13 points for Chesapeake, which jumped to a 19-8 lead and dominated the rest of the way.
