NEW YORK (AP) — New York City fire officials are investigating a Queens apartment building fire that injured seven people.

WNBC-TV reports crews responded to the seven-story building in the Rockaways Sunday afternoon. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze.

Authorities say four civilians and three firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

Residents weren't allowed back into their apartments Sunday night.

The cause of the fire is unclear.
