Unseasonably cool temperatures for the week
Unseasonable cool weather will continue this week, making for a relatively chilly lead-up week to Memorial Day, one of the biggest holiday weekends for boating.
The National Weather Service said thunderstorms and clouds will continue for much of the Mojave Desert region. Clear skies are expected in Lake Havasu City, but there are chances of rain Monday for northern and eastern Mohave County. Winds are expected through Tuesday, with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour on Tuesday night.
Temperatures in Havasu will reach highs of 80s and lows in the 50s and 60s throughout the week, the Weather Service said. The high in Havasu on Saturday and Sunday will be around 90 degrees, the Weather Service said.
