Flyers’ Hull and Burt Injured
PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Philadelphia Flyers forward Jody Hull will miss 2-4 weeks with a strained knee, and defenseman Adam Burt is out for an undetermined period with a mild concussion.
Both players were injured Thursday night in Philadelphia’s 4-2 victory over Florida.
Hull has a sprained ligament in his left knee _ the same one he sprained last season. Hull was charging the net when he collided with Bret Hedican late in the second period.
Burt was hit twice in the first period and will undergo tests Monday to determine how long he will be out.
He didn’t return after taking an elbow to the head from Cam Stewart in the first. Burt said he felt woozy after being hit by Lance Pitlick on his first shift of the game. He came back two shifts later and was hit by Stewart.
