2 killed in three-vehicle crash identified
BELMONT, N.H. (AP) — Police have identified two men who died in a three-vehicle crash in Belmont, New Hampshire.
NH1 reports police say 37-year-old Brian Bennett, of Tilton, and 47-year-old Michael Lima, of Meredith, died July Fourth when their SUV veered out of northbound Route 106 and entered into the southbound lane.
Their vehicle hit the rear of a car then went into a spin and was struck head-on by a pickup truck.
Lima, a passenger, died at the scene. Bennett was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The crash is being investigated by Belmont police, a county accident reconstruction team and the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
