20-year-old arrested in bank robbery

A 20-year-old Fort Wayne man was arrested Tuesday night on charges he robbed a north-side credit union.Tehran Neeley was booked into the Allen County Jail on charges of robbery and resisting law enforcement.City police said Neeley robbed the Three Rivers Federal Credit Union at 1130 E. State Blvd. around 5:30 p.m.He passed a note and then fled from the credit union’s front door with an undetermined amount of money. One customer was inside the credit union at the time. It was unclear in a police department news release if Neeley displayed a weapon.Witnesses gave police a detailed description of Neeley who was seen near Northside Park shortly after the robbery. He was arrested near Northside Pool, police said.Fort Wayne police, the FBI and Allen County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating. jduffy@jg.net
