Fight at home in Windsor leads to Saturday night stabbing, Sheriff’s Office says
A 25-year-old man suffered potentially life-threatening wounds after being stabbed in the abdomen during a fight Saturday night in the village of Windsor, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Evans K. Chelanga, 26, of Windsor, was arrested on tentative charges of first-degree recklessly causing injury and disorderly conduct, said Lt. Ira Simpson.
A deputy arrived at a home in the 4500 block of Golf Drive shortly before 8 p.m. to find numerous people, a “chaotic scene” and the victim bleeding from a stab wound to his abdomen, Simpson said.
The victim was taken to UW Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
