Highway work to slow traffic into Charleston
CHARLESTON — Interstate construction is going to slow commutes into West Virginia’s capital city for about the next three months.
WCHS-TV reported Tuesday that delays are expected into Charleston for the next 96 days as crews are replacing bridge decks over four roadways where interstates 64, 77 and 79 split.
The station says drivers coming into Charleston should plan for backups and traffic changes. Underpasses will also experience closures.
