Wu, Gurzynski combine styles for Dancing with the Local Stars

So, as they prepare for the competition at Lincoln Hills Golf Club on Oct. 13, they are laser-focused on making their routine energetic and fun for the crowd.
Their dance combines hip-hop and salsa to music of the 2000s. It’s fast-paced and includes lifts, flips and drops designed to grab the audience’s attention. And Wu, Gurzynski and Bly all reported that they are still changing their moves just two weeks before the event.
“We’re very demanding,” Gurzynski said. “Alissa will put something together and we’ll say, ‘We don’t like that; let’s try this.’ Alissa’s been amazing on the fly. Without her, there’s no way we’d be able to put a whole dance together.”
The goal of Dancing with the Local Stars is to raise funds for the Ludington Area School District’s Oriole Foundation. Eight couples will be performing and competing for donations to the foundation and for trophies in three categories: Judges’ Choice, Most Entertaining
