Blue Knights Roll to Win Over Blue Devils
The Lunenburg girls’ indoor track stormed past Murdock, winning 67-24 on Wednesday evening.
Camille Elbthal won the shot put, Nicole Lawrence took the high jump and Lauren Long captured the 2-mile as the Blue Knights improved to 4-0 on the season.
Also winning for Lunenburg were Abby Rodrinquez (mile), Gabby Maia (600), Amber Green (300) and the 4x400 relay (Angelika Helmer, Julia Pilon, Keena Kelly, Breda Paige-Violette).

Alban Baboci led the Patriots (0-8) with 13 points. Kyle Blaisdell added 10 points in the loss.
Jake Thibeault scored the lone goal for Fitchburg (3-3-1).

David Gardner won the 600, mile and high jump for the Blue Knights (4-0), while Michael Alleva won the 1,000 and 2-mile.
Joe Rivers won the shot put and the 4x200 relay (Mason Infantino, Rivers, Joseph Montemurro, Nick Huntington) and the 4x400 relay (Brady Burns, Seamus Gordon, Robbie Nash, Nick Hall) claimed firsts.
Minh-Huy Le placed first in the 200 freestyle with a season-best and sectional qualifying time of 1:56.75, while also taking first in the 100 freestyle with a sectionals time of 51.71. Ben Kalber added first-place finishes in the 50 free (24.03) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.19).
Liam Pyatt was also a double winner, taking the 100 butterfly (55.91) and 100 backstroke (59.77), while Jake Eastman won the 500 free with a season-best time of 5:24.45.
The 200 medley relay team (Mauricio De Almeida, Kalber, Pyatt and Eastman), 200 free relay team (De Almeida, Dylan Gross, Alex LaFrance and Le) and 400 free relay group (Eastman, Le, Pyatt and Kalber) were all victorious for Nashoba (5-4).
Molly Trunfio took first in the 50 free with a time of 28.48 and also placed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:27.50 to lead Nashoba (4-5).
Allison Lucas (200 free), Grace Roth (200 IM), Sarah Ladd (100 fly), Abby Eastman (500 free) and Jordyn Catino (100 breaststroke) all claimed victory, while Izzy Nguyen took first in diving.
Nashoba also won the 200 medley relay (Eastman, Catino, Trunfio and Lilly Ropes), the 200 freestyle relay (Ladd, Madison Cirillo, Anna Henson and Erin Kilkenny) and the 400 freestyle relay (Veronica Martinez, Catino, Eastman and Trunfio).
