LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) _ Joe Bunn and Odell Hodge each scored 17 points to lead Old Dominion to a 66-52 victory Wednesday over Wyoming.

Old Dominion's game plan was to work the ball inside against the smaller Cowboys (4-3). The strategy worked, as the Monarchs (3-6) scored 22 of their 31 points inside the paint in the first half.

Old Dominion led 31-19 before the Cowboys rallied to close the lead to 31-25 at the break.

Both teams struggled to start the second and dunks by HL Coleman and Jeron Roberts pulled Wyoming to 40-38 with 11:30 left in the game.

The Monarchs responded with an 11-0 run and made their free throws down the stretch to hold off Wyoming.

Coleman and Roberts led Wyoming with 12 points apiece.

E.J. Sherod added 13 for Old Dominion.

Wyoming went 0-15 and Old Dominion was 0-6 beyond the 3-point line.
