WASHINGTON (AP) _ Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will attend meetings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations this month in Singapore, the State Department announced today.

She leaves July 22 for the ASEAN Regional Forum and postministerial conference, which end July 28, department spokesman James Foley said. The meetings include ministers from Japan, China and the European Union as well as ASEAN members.
