Injured worker rescued from Shelton roof
SHELTON — An injured worker was rescued from a roof in the city on Wednesday, fire officials said.
Around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, fire units were sent to Grove Street near its intersection with Laurel Avenue for a report of someone in need of rescuing from a roof.
The first unit on scene met with emergency medical services and the agencies found a worker on the roof with a leg injury, unable to get down.
The crews worked a ladder truck to get the patient down from the roof. He was transferred into the care of the EMS for treatment.
