2 North Carolina men held in South Carolina shooting death
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Two North Carolina men have been charged in the shooting death of a man near a South Carolina beach bathroom.
News outlets report Terence Isacc Blackwell and Earl Rafel Gaddis Jr., both of Spring Lake, North Carolina, have been arrested by Myrtle Beach police in Thursday’s shooting of 24-year-old Sylvester Bellamy of Georgetown. Bellamy was found at a rest room a block off Ocean Boulevard. He died early Friday from his injuries.
Blackwell is charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a stolen pistol.
Gaddis faces the same charges, along with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. The men were denied bond Saturday.
It was not known if they have attorneys yet.
