ORONO, Maine (AP) _ Greg Madison scrambled out of the pocket to complete a 59-yard touchdown pass to Lindsay Fleshman with 1:34 to go, giving James Madison a 24-22 victory over Maine on Saturday.

Maine returned the ensuing kickoff 51 yards, but its last chance ended when Mickey Fein threw his fifth interception on a fourth and 20 play.

Maine (2-2,2-2 Atlantic 10) took a 22-17 lead with 6:22 to when Fein threw three yards to Rameek Wright.

Todd Jagoutz kicked field goals of 22 and 37 yards to pull Maine within 17-16 prior to the go-ahead pass.

James Madison (3-1,2-0) broke a 10-10 halftime tie on a Delvin Joyce 11-yard run for a score. A Fein interception by Marcus Ordonez at the Maine 11 setup the Joyce score.

Joyce ran three yards for a touchdown in the first half, and Bert Rich matched it with a 25-yard run for Maine.

Jagoutz also kicked the first of his three field goals for Maine, and Nelson Garner kicked a field goal for James Madison.
