Set scores were 25-17, 26-28, 25-18, 25-18.
Fifth-ranked Cascade Christian (9-3, 3-1 FWL) dropped Douglas (9-3, 2-2) into fourth place in the league standings. Caroline McMahon led the Challengers with 26 kills and 13 digs.
Sophomore Makenna Anderson had 17 digs and 13 assists for the Trojans. Maisen Locker chipped in seven kills and 10 digs, and Mila Snuka-Polamalu added six kills and 13 digs.
“It was a very good match. Our girls did really well,” surmised Douglas coach Alisha Jones. “Both teams had some unforced errors, and unfortunately we had a few more.”
