Lutheran South Academy blanks Magnolia Legacy Prep, 28-0

Beau Psencik rushed eight times for 178 yards and three touchdowns, powering Lutheran South Academy to a 28-0 win over Magnolia Legacy Prep Friday in a TAPPS football game.

After a scoreless first quarter, LSA scored twice in the second period to take a 14-0 halftime lead and then added touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters.

Psencik scored on a 77-yard run while Pioneer quarterback Luke Harrison scored on a 61-yard scamper to highlight the LSA offense.

Bret Galliford led LSA with nine tackles while Kaleb Hicks, Noah Gomez and Tristan Barron each recorded seven tackles. Adam Zimmerman finished with six tackles.

LSA (4-1), which has won three straight games, next hosts Fort Bend Christian Academy on Oct. 12.
