Boulder County Placed Under Flash Flood Watch Until Midnight
Boulder County has been placed under a flash flood watch by the National Weather Service.
The flash flood watch is in effect until midnight and the Fourmile burn area will be especially susceptible to flooding, according to the weather service.
“Numerous thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening,” the weather service wrote. “Heavy rainfall can be expected with the stronger storms, with an inch of rainfall possible in an hour or less.”
The weather service also said some of the storms could bring high winds and large hail as the storms move east from the Front Range.
