City of Rosenberg joins warrant roundup
There are people all over with outstanding arrest warrants. Oftentimes, they are discovered by law enforcement during routine events like traffic stops.
However, law enforcement agencies across Texas are currently actively searching for people with outstanding warrants and making arrests.
As part of the effort, the Rosenberg Police Department is conducting its warrant roundup March 9-16. According to the police department, warrants will “remain in effect until payments are received and posted. It is the warrant holder’s responsibility to confirm payment.”
In order to avoid arrest, people with outstanding warrants must pay all outstanding fees by:
Paying with a credit card at www.municipalonlinepayments.com/rosenbergtx.
Mailing full payment to Rosenberg Municipal Court, P.O. Box 32, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Allow mail delivery time to ensure payments arrive prior to March 9.
Appearing in person at Rosenberg Municipal Court located at 2110 4th Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Additionally, the Rosenberg Municipal Court has reported warrants for non-renewal of driver’s licenses to the Texas Department of Public Safety,” the city of Rosenberg reported. “Only full payment will clear this issue and allow renewal of the license.”
