Dodge County’s election results are tallied

April 4, 2019

JUNEAU -- Clerks in Dodge County endured more than their fair share of work on Tuesday as several individuals were elected to municipal positions.

As of Daily Times press time at 9:30 p.m. the following results were in. The winners of the election in each district are distinguished by a check mark. A canvass will follow in the coming week, according to Dodge County Clerk Karen Gibson.

Town of Ashippun

In the town of Ashippun, James Meyer easily won over challenger Chris Enders for the vacant board chairman position while David Guckenberger lost to David Adkins for the vacant supervisor 4 seat. Tom Wasemiller fell to William Bremer for supervisor 2.

Town of Clyman

David Blank was elected to the town board chairman position. Steven A. Caine and Lee Bruni were elected to the town board. The two ran uncontested, as did Chris Spilker, who was nominated as town clerk, and Sandra Thoma, who was nominated as the town treasurer.

Town of Emmet

In the town of Emmet, William E. Nass ran uncontested and was nominated as the town board chairman. Debra Carlson and Teresa A. Triana ran uncontested and were elected to serve as town clerk and town treasurer, respectively. Also, incumbent supervisors Richard Walter defeated Carrie Will. Brent Carlson won in a commanding fashion over David Huber.

David L. Margelofsky ran uncontested and was elected to serve as the town board chairman. Alvin Hildebrandt and Howard W. Zubke ran uncontested and were elected to serve on the town board. Kim Tennyson ran uncontested and will serve as town clerk. Allen H. Hackbarth ran uncontested and will serve as the town’s treasurer.

In the town of Lebanon, incumbent Pam Conway lost to Brenda Buske. Lohny Frederick ran uncontested and was nominated for town board chairman. Greg Frederick also ran uncontested and was named to the town board. Deborah Behl and Jon Schoenike ran uncontested and were named clerk and treasurer, respectively.
