Three arrested on slew of drug charges

WAYNE - Last week the Wayne County Sheriff Department Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three suspects after executing a search warrant in the Wilson’s Creek area of Wayne.

According to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson, a distribution quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Heroin, Marijuana, pills, digital scales, and packaging material were seized from the residence.

Jeremiah Stephens, of Wayne, is charged with delivery of a Controlled Substance (heroin), delivery of a controlled Substance (crystal methamphetamine), possession with intent to deliver (heroin), Possession with intent to deliver (crystal methamphetamine), possession with intent to deliver (marijuana), possession with intent to deliver (Clonazepam, Pseudoephedrine Altered) and conspiracy to distribute 5 to 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Tonya Stephens, of Wayne, is charged with possession with intent to deliver (heroin), possession with intent to deliver (crystal methamphetamine), possession with intent to deliver (marijuana), pseudoephedrine altered, and conspiracy to distribute 5 to 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Linda Lucas, of East Lynn, is charged with possession with intent to deliver (heroin), possession with intent to deliver (crystal methamphetamine), pseudoephedrine altered and conspiracy to Distribute 5 to 50 grams of methamphetamine. She also had a warrant for arrest and is currently on probation from a felony drug conviction from a drug investigation by the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit.

Thompson added that there was an infant in the residence and CPS was contacted to remove the child from the home. Road patrol deputies assisted serving the search warrant.

In an unrelated case, Erica Ross, of Wayne, was arrested in a separate investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit.

Ross is charged with possession with intent to deliver (crystal methamphetamine), possession with intent to deliver (suboxone) and pseudoephedrine altered.
