Thunderstorms leave trees, lines down

The Journal GazetteMay 23, 2019

Fort Wayne motorists are dealing with downed power lines, trees and related debris this morning, according to emergency dispatchers.

Residents are asked to use caution as a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect in northern Indiana until 10 a.m.

The Indiana Michigan Power outage map was showing only 75 customers without power in Fort Wayne and New Haven, however, driving conditions remain less than ideal, officials said.

The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana expects the storms to pass through, giving way to partly sunny skies with a high near 80 degrees later in day.
