Back Mountain Library Has A Lot To Offer

December 20, 2018

Editor: Recently, we took our grandchildren Christmas shopping in Princeton, New Jersey. When we finished our shopping, we had some extra time before our dinner reservations so we went into the Princeton Public Library. Just inside the entrance is a small bookstore selling used and donated books. I eagerly stopped to look. Frankly, I was not impressed. Our Back Mountain Memorial Library has a large and very well-stocked bookstore in the basement. We have many, many more books and our prices are better. You may have visited the bookstore during the summer library auction and found it somewhat crowded. Did you know that the bookstore is open year-round with liberal hours? Please check the library website for the hours at backmountainlibrary.org. All books are donated and all the staff are volunteers. As you prepare for Christmas, why not visit the library bookstore to find a great selection of novels, cookbooks, children’s books and many other options? Some art books have prints suitable for framing. To get to the bookstore, go to the Back Mountain Memorial Library on Huntsville Road in Dallas, and drive around to the back of the library. Take the steps to the basement or there is a ramp for accessibility. Martha Gurdin DALLAS
