SEATTLE (AP) _ The Seattle SuperSonics activated guard Mateen Cleaves before Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, clearing roster space by moving rookie center Robert Swift to the injured list with right knee tendinits.

Coach Nate McMillan only had nine players available because of injuries.

Forward Danny Fortson, nursing a sprained left shoulder, was listed as doubtful, along with guard Antonio Daniels (left knee swelling). Forwards Rashard Lewis (bruised right foot) and Vladimir Radmanovic (stress fracture, right leg) are out.

Cleaves had been on the injured list with a sprained right thumb.
