ST PAUL POLICE-MENTAL HEALTH
ST. PAUL, Minn. _ The St. Paul Police Department is expanding its mental health unit. The unit started in the spring and has four officers and two social workers. The St. Paul City Council has approved the budget to add three more officers. So far this year, about 1,500 cases have been referred to the unit. UPCOMING: 280-300 words. AP Photos pursuing.
