LOS ANGELES (AP) _ ``Everybody Loves Raymond'' co-star Doris Roberts says not everybody loves older people _ especially in youth-oriented Hollywood.

``The image that is representing the older generation in this country is disgusting,'' said the 69-year-old actress, who says older people are ``the last group it's still okay to ridicule.''

Roberts, who was nominated for an Emmy award for her role as Ray Romano's nagging mother on the CBS comedy, was part of a panel Thursday of older writers, directors and actors who said they were being ignored by a teen-obsessed industry.

She said there were so few good parts for women her age that 160 mature actresses auditioned for her ``Raymond'' role.

``Fifteen years ago, there wouldn't have been that many,'' said Roberts.
