At Meyers, Emily Matthews had an incredible game on offense, finishing with all four Wyoming Seminary goals in the Blue Knights’ 4-3 overtime win against Meyers in WVC girls soccer Monday.

Matthews scored the first two goals of the game. She later scored the goal that tied the game and sent it to overtime, where she netted another goal.

Meyers’ Haley Krasnavage scored two goals. Ashley Bruno had a goal and an assist.

At Dallas, the Mountaineers did all their scoring in the second half on two goals by Emma Sweitzer and another by Ali Francis.

Dallas goalkeeper Sarah Krokos had a strong performance, making 16 saves and not allowing any to get past her.

Camila Arias and Kaitlyn Beiler also scored for Hazleton Area, while Josie Middleton had two assists. Hazleton Area goalkeeper Caitlyn Katchur made 18 saves and allowed only one goal by Rhiannon Okuniewski.
