Waupun Police Beat 11-2 to 11-4, 2018

Theft — Friday at 3:21 p.m., police took a postal package theft complaint at the police department, which occurred at a residence in the 200 block of South Drummond Street.

Traffic Stop — Friday at 5:34 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Madison Street at East Jefferson Street. A 24-year-old Waupun man was cited for operating after revocation.

Theft — Saturday at 12:40 p.m., police took a gun theft complaint at the police department. The victim believes the gun was either stolen in the city of Waupun or in the city of Madison.

Disturbance — Saturday at 1:40 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of Beaver Dam Street for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. A 32-year-old Waupun woman was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. The woman was transported to Dodge County Jail.

Damage to Property — Sunday at 2:36 a.m., police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of Olmstead Street. Residents heard banging and kicking at their front door. When they turned a light on, they observed an average height man wearing a blue hoodie flee from the scene. They also observed damage to their residence.

Traffic Stop — Sunday at 6:16 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street at South Grove Street. A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for operating after suspension.

Disturbance — Sunday at 10:47 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 700 block of West Lincoln Street for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. A 22-year-old Waupun man was taken into custody for a failure to appear warrant through the city of Portage. Disorderly conduct charges are being referred to the Dodge County DA’s Office against the man. The man was transported to Dodge County Jail.

Traffic Stop — Sunday at 8:43 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Rock Avenue. A 33-year-old Waupun woman was cited for operating after revocation and operating without insurance.
