City paves way for stop light instillation on State Route 95
Road work continued on State Route 95 this week between South Acoma Boulevard and Mulberry Avenue, with city workers paving the way for the future opening of the Havasu Riviera Project.
Construction on the highway will include the installation of a stop light, and is expected to be complete next month, according to Lake Havasu City Manager Jess Knudsen. The roadwork represents a collaboration between the city and Havasu-based Desert Land Group, which is developing the Havasu Riviera property.
According to Knudsen, a road into the Havasu Riviera project will be opened about one month after the stop light is installed.
