Mayoral candidate plans housing discussion

A candidate for Rochester mayor is planning a town-hall meeting to discuss affordable housing.

As the seven-way primary race heads to the Aug. 14 election, Kim Norton will join regional housing experts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in 125 Live’s Cedar Room, 125 Elton Hills Drive NW, to explore possible solutions, including community partnerships, mixed-use housing, creative funding options and rehabilitation efforts.

The hourlong discussion is open to the public.
