Video of S. Philly gas station shooting that killed 15-year-old boy reveals two shooters

The Gulf gas station on Passyunk Avenue, near 25th Street, in South Philadelphia, where two 15-year-old boys were shot about 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, and one, Rasul Benson, died.

A clearer examination Saturday of a South Philadelphia gas station’s surveillance footage shows that there were two shooters Thursday night in the gunfire that killed one 15-year-old boy and wounded another.

The video, provided by the Gulf station on Passyunk Avenue near 25th Street, shows a person on a bike riding into the gas station lot and meeting up with four other youths who were outside. Seconds later, a car pulled up in front of the station and a gunman emerged from the back seat, running toward the youths while shooting. As they scattered, the gunman chased one of them, still firing.
