TRAFFIC OFFENSE/WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Joshua Ellis Smith, 38, was arrested Dec. 19 at Lakeside Drive and Lakeside Cove after police pulled over a vehicle in which he was a passenger. A check showed him to have three outstanding misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear. The driver, Erin Kathleen Peterson, 27, was cited for failure to stop at a red light and released. Smith was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
TRUANCY, BULLHEAD CITY — A 12-year-old boy was arrested Dec. 20 after police were called to Bullhead City Middle School, 1062 Hancock Road, for a report of two students who had left school without permission. The students were spotted in the 1000 block of Hancock Road, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said. One was returned to school, she said. The 12-year-old, who was known to the officers from other contacts, was cited and released to his mother.
WARRANT ARREST/FALSE REPORTING, BULLHEAD CITY — William David Jaimes, 32, was arrested Dec. 20 after being contacted by officers in the 500 block of Ramar Road. He was arrested on suspicion of false reporting to law enforcement and on an unspecified misdemeanor warrant. Jaimes was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Joseph Martin Matillo, 59, was arrested Dec. 21 on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
